On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Montenegro, met with Ervin Ibrahimović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro. During the meeting, the Montenegrin Foreign Minister congratulated Ambassador Fazli on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Montenegro and wished him success in carrying out his new responsibilities. The two sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Montenegro. Emphasizing the friendly ties between the two countries, they highlighted the existing potential and favorable opportunities for expanding and deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
