The Two Sides Welcomed Development of Bilateral Relations

On 22 June 2026, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian held a telephone conversation with his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vučić.

During the call, the Presidents of Iran and Serbia discussed current regional developments and bilateral relations. Referring to the attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime, President Pezeshkian outlined the principled positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran to his Serbian counterpart. President Vučić expressed support for the continuation of negotiations and the pursuit of a peaceful resolution, called for the further expansion of bilateral cooperation, and invited President Pezeshkian to attend EXPO 2027 Serbia.
